Authentication

Playlist Pipeline requires access to your Spotify account to read your playlists and create or update playlists on your behalf.

Connecting Your Account

1. Go to the Playlist Pipeline web app
2. Click Sign in with Spotify
3. You’ll be redirected to Spotify to authorize the app
4. Review the permissions and click Agree
5. You’ll be redirected back to Playlist Pipeline

Permissions

Playlist Pipeline requests the following Spotify permissions:

Permission	Why it’s needed
View your Spotify account data	To identify your account
View your activity on Spotify	To read your saved tracks and listening history
View your private playlists	To read tracks from your playlists
Manage your public playlists	To create and update playlists
Manage your private playlists	To create and update private playlists

Disconnecting Your Account

To revoke Playlist Pipeline’s access to your Spotify account:

1. Go to your Spotify Account Settings
2. Find “Playlist Pipeline” in the list of apps
3. Click Remove Access

Note: This will prevent your scheduled pipelines from running until you reconnect your account.
